We're growing and are on the lookout for top talent ready and eager to embrace the BT Life. We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager working out of any of our local offices – Sudbury, Timmins or North Bay.

The Manager will be an integral part of our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your career, while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Working closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff to develop and implement tax and accounting strategies for clients
  • Identifying and resolving accounting, audit and tax issues
  • Developing strong technical audit, accounting and tax skills
  • Managing and Reviewing engagement files
  • Supporting, managing and mentoring firm staff
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales / service opportunities for clients
  • Playing a leadership role with respect to firm processes and software applications
  • A successful candidate will have :

  • 3-5 years plus of progressive public accounting experience
  • Prior experience managing large increased risk engagements
  • Proven technical skills in accounting and assurance
  • Advanced accounting, tax and software knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills
  • A passion for client service
  • Bilingualism in French / English is an asset
