Monthly Salary Range : MoveUp Group 08 , MIN $5,419.00  - MAX $6,497.00  is available through annual general wage / step increases.

Recruitment Range : MIN $5,419 – STEP 3 $6,008.

Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting Transformation and Innovation, the Financial Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining JD Edwards Address Book master data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the financial system.

As part of the Accounting Transformation and Innovation team, this role supports system functionality for internal and external customers, contributing to the ongoing support, maintenance, updates and optimization of existing financial systems.

The Financial Systems Administrator collaborates with the Financial Operations team on daily tasks including reconciling the received-not-vouchered account and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

What you'll bring to the table...

We value lifelong learners and have found that a mix of any of the following credentials have set people up for success in this role in the past :

  • Three (3) years related experience in a computerized accounting, auditing, financial operations or related IT role
  • Working with the public, through customer service or sales experience is required
  • Experience or working knowledge of the JD Edwards Address book is considered a strong asset
  • Experience applying corporate policies and procedures to complex situations
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
