Mikisew Group LP is looking for anAccounting Technician to join our Finance team in Enoch, AB. This opportunity is open exclusively to registered Mikisew Cree First Nation (MCFN) members.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and control of customer invoices and payments, making sure the organization invoices and collects receivables, on time, and in line with internal policies. Its a very detail-driven role that sits at the heart of finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve customer invoices
• Resolve invoicing issues and concerns
• Provide supporting documentation for accruals and invoices
• Post customer payments by recording cash, cheques, and credit card transactions
• Prepare journal entries
• Meet month end deadlines
• Collect outstanding customer balances
• Account reconciliations
• Participate in financial and vendor audits
• Correspondence with site management and administration
• Scan and file records
• Ad-hoc reporting for both internal and external customers
• Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company / organizational objectives
