Their focus is simple: Manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured organizations to ensure they get injured workers back to work and their life. Are you an experienced, talented, results-driven leader looking to mentor a team committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience? The team is seeking a Claims Supervisor to join their leadership team. In the Claims Supervisor role, you will lead a team of adjusters and administrative and technical support staff. You will have the opportunity to: Be part of a team of skilled professionals who are up for a challenge and take outstanding performance to heart - Accelerate your career development with a diverse range of experiences across jurisdictions, industries, and risks How will you affect the business? - Drive adjuster hiring and development which results in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement - Lead a claims team that delivers high quality and efficient service - Guide, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports through the development of team goals and workload balancing protocols, while encouraging and delivering strong performance - Continuously finding ways to improve teams' efficiency and quality utilizing company's technology - Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner - Effectively lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities, and position team members for success


About you

High school diploma /Bachelors Degree preferred and 7 years related claim experience required.

CIP or partial completion

Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements.

Knowledge of all team member related functions.

Requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills. Ensures flawless and consistent execution of client service instructions and performance guarantees/

Ability to actively review work of others via file reviews; identify coaching opportunities, act on needed coaching opportunities and position subordinates for successful development leading to advancement within the organization.
