Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is the provinces not-for-profit provider of security, safety, training, and identification services. THE ROLE

Position : Security Guard-Marine Atlantic

Competition Number : CNS 2026-01-05

Location : North Sydney

Reports to : Site Supervisor

Rate of Pay : Average $19.50 per hour. Scale of compensation is variable, and reflective of site contracts. Please note, some of our sites are unionized work environments.

Working Hours : Rotating 812-hour shifts, various hours / days of the week. This initially will be for part time possibly leading to full time or seasonal.
