Instructional Designer -

  • MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCE

Duration : 7 month rolling

Location : Remote, or 1 day a week in office Thursdays

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Instructional Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing engaging and effective training solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, multimedia development, and the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Needs Analysis : Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Curriculum Development : Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including course outlines, learning objectives, and assessments.
  • Content Creation : Create engaging and interactive training materials, such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, and job aids.
  • Multimedia Development : Utilize authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite to create visually appealing and effective training materials.
  • Audio Production : Produce high-quality audio content, including podcasts and voiceovers.
  • Records Management : Ensure compliance with records retention and destruction policies throughout the training development and delivery process.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in instructional design and development
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theories
  • Proficiency in authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in creating audio content, such as podcasts and voiceovers
  • Knowledge of financial services and banking industry, particularly in relation to records management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
