Key Responsibilities

  • Provides Level 3 First Aid to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Facilitates drug and alcohol testing.
  • Conducts workplace monitoring sampling as directed.
  • Monitors and controls all incoming and outgoing visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Participates in Mine Rescue / Emergency Response Teams.
  • Assists with medical surveillance programs.
  • Performs inspections of fire extinguishers.
  • Assists with incident investigations and reporting.
  • Maintains PPE inventory at the Security Desk.
  • Facilitates site orientation for visitors and suppliers.

Professional Experience / Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Basic knowledge of fire protection systems and extinguishers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work shifts in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in mine rescue is an asset.
  • Education

  • OFA Level III First Aid or equivalent.
