Position Summary

Supervises a small group (6‑12) of hourly associates in a cross‑dock, warehouse, or transportation management operation. Monitors day‑to‑day operations for compliance to establish safety and logistics procedures. Must support the afternoon shift (5 : 45 p.m. – 2 : 30 a.m.) Monday to Friday. This role is a 12‑month contract.

Major Responsibilities

• People : Communicate daily work assignments; interview hourly associates and provide hiring recommendations; ensure fair treatment for all associates.
• Operations : Evaluate and recommend changes to improve customer satisfaction; manage deadline pressures while maintaining positivity; ensure product is stored / delivered timely and damage‑free.
• Finance : Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures such as inventory accuracy, returns, damages; understand decision‑making impacts on profitability; closely manage associate working hours to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets.
• Safety : Understand location safety strategy; continuously monitor and reinforce safety awareness; lead shift safety meetings.
• Growth / Customer Experience : Present a positive, can‑do attitude; understand location‑specific customer goals; identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Fleet / Assets : Ensure equipment is in proper working order; complete maintenance documentation and send to vendor; secure vehicles when not in service.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
