Job description

The Business Analyst's (banking Area) mission is to establish the link between the Compliance and Sanction Business operational teams / Product and IT, translating each business need into detailed requirements. The analyst collects and analyses every new need deriving from market changes, internal projects, or simply users' requests for system enhancement, proposing and documenting the most optimal solutions to meet users' expectations, always involving all relevant stakeholders in the process. This position requires excellent relational quality, accuracy, and team spirit.

Position Purpose :

  • Function as Technical Business Analyst in Compliance and Sanctions Filtering domain.
  • Proficiency in SQL, API, and Excel is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in creating FSD, BRDs - and those specific to APis
  • Good understanding of technical infrastructure (databases, web development, etc.) and how it | interconnects with other system for data sharing
  • Be able to analyze complex data sets to consider data governance and data lineage when building solutions to workflows and data flow in information systems.
  • Strong analytical and process management skills to interpret & anticipate business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Success in the role is heavily dependent on the ability to work independently.
  • This position will require to work in globally distributed organization.

The responsibilities include :

  • Conduct technical and functional support work for the IT (Compliance) team.
  • Analyze functional & system processes to strategize and implement the solution to meet business and regulatory needs.
  • Ability to extract and analyze data from various banking systems (Internal and External)
  • Create Functional & Technical Specifications
  • Develop and execute a Test plan (including writing Test Cases and a Traceability Matrix), as well as assist users with the UAT process.
  • Work with Compliance to identify the appropriate methodology to cover various scenarios and validate the existing setup.
  • Coordinate with various IT and Business teams to implement solutions.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in the financial industry
  • Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies and best practices, including Agile methodologies.
  • Good understanding of Data Analysis and Data Mapping
  • Ability to present multiple solution options, business / functional analysis & design, and drive projects to meet business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
