Job Description
Our Public Sector client in Downtown Vancouver, BC is seeking a Communications Officer to join their growing team for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity! This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3x / week in the office and 2-3x / week working remotely.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain / update the client's websites and social media platforms (Facebook), including the client's webinar library (website / YouTube)
- Refresh the client's promotional materials and develop new ones, including videos
- Work with the client team to develop key messaging and external communication documents as appropriate, and review all for formatting and copy-editing
- Develop campaigns modeled after the existing campaign
- Support development of the Annual Report, event programs, new guidebooks, and other resources by writing, reviewing, and editing content for these and other client publications
Note : Candidates will be required to submit writing samples as part of the interview process. Requirements :
- 2-3+ years of social media / digital marketing / website design experience
- Skilled in managing social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube
- Excellent written communication skills
