Test Electronic Assembler / Test Technician (Temporary to Permanent) About Our Client Our client has representatives and warehouses all across Canada.
They are a manufacturer and distributor of fire alarms, security systems, automation building solutions and more since 1991.
We are looking for amazing, hardworking staff to work in their second largest building in Canada! What You Will Be Doing, as a Test Electronic Technician :
- Testing of electronic devices and assemblies.
- Repairing of electronic devices and assemblies.
- Maintain a high level of workmanship.
- Provide technical support as required.
- Work within a team environment to ensure smooth operations. Responsible for visual inspection, hand soldering, cutting leads and working with various hand tools to produce quality circuit boards.
- Hand solder components onto circuit boards as required.
- Use torque drivers for installing parts onto circuit board for final assembly.
- Ensuring proper manufacturing quantities are labeled as per job, including all labels on boards, information on finished goods, and quantities on post wave boxes.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Should Have, a Test Electronic Technician :
- Being Bilingual is an asset but English must be your first language for this role.
- Must have a minimum of 1-3 years’ similar experience.
- Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- 2 years of practical experience in the testing and repairing of electronic assemblies.
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
- Surface mount soldering skills.
In Return, You Will Receive :
- $18.14 per hour
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Opportunity for permanent hire
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is :
- Day shift Monday to Friday
- 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
- ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15-minute breaks (paid)
Where You Will Be Working, as a Test Electronic Technician :
- Rue Avro & Sources Blvd (Pointe-Claire)
- This may be bus accessible to some.
