Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Hydrogeology Group -Environmental Services team, based in the Markham, ON  office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting senior professionals in a wide variety of physical hydrogeology projects.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary field and office project team to achieve hydrogeological project objectives for various sites.
• Participate in contaminant hydrogeology projects.
• Work will include dewatering projects, well testing, environmental impact assessments, hydrogeological assessments, water supply work and groundwater modeling.
• Conduct investigation programs including drilling, test pitting, and installation of monitoring / test wells and surface water instrumentation.
• Map and interpret surficial geology and hydrogeology features.
• Conduct field investigations including groundwater investigations, groundwater testing, slug / bail and pumping tests, groundwater / surface water sampling.
• Conduct field programs to map hydrogeological features, geological logging, drilling supervision and installation of groundwater monitoring wells and surface water instrumentation.
• Data analysis, compilation and evaluation of hydraulic conductivity and pumping test results, interpretation of groundwater chemical results, preparation of hydrographs and assisting in reporting.
• Working knowledge of applicable environmental laws in the Province of Ontario is required.

The salary range for this role is between $50K – 66K. The actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location
