Job Description

• Operating and driving trucks with three axles to transport goods and materials as required
• Safely loading, handling, and transporting goods and heavy cargo safely
• Recording both materials picked up and delivered, performing pre‑trip, en‑route and maintenance of their vehicles before driving, updating lines, routes, total mileage and breaks every day
• Reporting any accidents or delays to supervisors, ensuring inspection and repairs to keep their vehicle safe and legal to operate
• Obeying traffic laws and following established traffic and transportation procedures
• Verifying the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
• Performing emergency repairs such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains and spark plugs
• Reading maps and following written and verbal geographic directions; reporting mechanical problems with vehicles

Job Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate)
• Experience: Will train
• Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: AZ class license
