This position reports to the Supervisor Cleaners and Kitchen Attendants and is primarily responsible for a full cleaning and sanitization of the demonstration and teaching kitchens, and common areas.

Specific Tasks include but are not limited to, and may change from time to time :

• Wash / disinfect worktables, cupboards, and appliances
• Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
• Unpack and store supplies in cupboards and other storage areas
• Sweep and mop floors and perform cleaning duties
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Place dishes in proper storage areas
• Scour pots and pans and may clean and polish silverware.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, elevators, student lounge and locker areas
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Outdoor yardwork backup
• Other related cleaning duties as request by management
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (day and evenings) Monday - Saturday
• Responsible for lifting up to 25 lbs.

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Full-time : up to 40 hours per week based on classroom schedule

Part-time hours : 8-20 per week

PLEASE NOTE : Wednesday Friday evening and Saturday Availability is Essential

Salary : $17.00 per hour (increasing to $17.50 / hour on Oct 1, 2024)
