We are looking for an Installation Coordinator for our client located in Montreal, Quebec. Our client is a company specializing in industrial automation.
Under the supervision of the Installation Manager, the person in this role will be responsible for organizing, supervising and carrying out mechanical and electrical installations, both in the workshop and on customer sites.
They will work closely with the engineering teams to ensure the success of projects, using creativity and analytical thinking to design and implement suitable solutions.
Responsibilities : In the workshop :
In the workshop :
- Supervise and execute mechanical, pneumatic and electrical installation in the factory;
- Support the assembly and engineering team for workshop testing;
- Participate in project planning and documentation;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.
On customer site :
- Supervise external resources (mechanical and electrical) for the installation;
- Interact with customers throughout the installation;
- Ensure the smooth running, quality and delivery of installations;
- Provide support to the start-up team for system startup
- Maintain and communicate installation monitoring documents;
- Diagnose and propose solutions adapted to the challenges encountered;
- Design custom mechanical parts as needed;
Qualifications and requirements :
- Availability for travel abroad (approximately 16 to 20 weeks per year);
- DEC in electromechanics or equivalent;
- Valid driver's license and passport without restrictions for travel;
- Perfect knowledge of French and functional English (interaction with English-speaking customers);
