Shipper / Receiver Night Shift

Material Supply & Logistics (MSL) is seeking a Shipper / Receiver for our Night Shift. The incumbent works within the store and is responsible for receiving incoming deliveries / returns and ensures all shipments of construction materials, tools, equipment, construction signage, message boards and miscellaneous items are complete and have been accurately picked.

This position will be a great fit for someone with construction or warehouse experience who enjoys working in a team environment. The ideal candidate is a very organized person who has the ability to adapt to a changing workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Location : 3150 Rideau Road

Night Shift Hours : 5pm – 3am

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing orders through a computerized shipping system; computer skills are required.
• Performing functions associated with sorting of incoming goods and putting away product.
• Performing final review and checking items for all outgoing order shipments for accuracy
• Work in an office / warehouse / yard space environment
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Assists with loading and unloading orders with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Assists with overall warehouse  / yard storage and maintenance.
• Be able to speak clearly on the phone and to process data entry requests.
• General clean-up of the warehouse and work areas.
