Our Offer to You :

  • Site : Nova Chemicals – Material Handler , Joffre, Alberta
  • Schedule : 4 days on, 3 days off, 10 hours per day (Long-term maintenance)

We’re looking for Material Handler , local to the Red Deer area, to join our team with an immediate start date for a long-term maintenance contract. What You’ll Do :

  • Manage, catalogue and store material
  • Track inventory levels ShipperReceiverIssue CounterDelivery (Van and Forklift) Technicians
  • Prioritize a safe working environment for all the team members

    • Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a warehouse on a multi trade, complex Petro Chemical facility
  • Valid driver’s license with a 3-year driver’s abstract
  • Forklift ticket
  • Driver’s License w / a 3-year driver’s abstract
  • Required Safety Tickets : CSTS-2020First AidEnergy Safety Canada Fall ProtectionConfined Space
  • Pre-access Drug and Alcohol test

    • Working Conditions

  • Working at heights, in and around noise, dust, indoor and outdoor in hot and cold weather conditions
  • Working in a confined space
  • Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

    • Physical Requirements

  • Must be clean shaven
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
