About You :

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic individual who takes pride in patient care. If you’re self-motivated, a quick learner, and thrive in both team and independent settings, we want to hear from you! Orthodontic experience is a plus but not required, as we provide training to help you meet CDHNS requirements for orthodontic procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Bonding and removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances
  • Placing and removing arch wires
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment progress
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive and cooperative atmosphere
  • Adapting to a fast-paced environment with a critical thinking approach
  • Requirements :

  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program
  • Preferred : Current CDHNS certification to perform orthodontic procedures (we will provide training if you’re a new grad!)
  • Ability to work independently without a dentist’s supervision on two of the scheduled days
  • Preferred : 2+ years of experience as a dental hygienist
  • Registered and in good standing with the dental hygiene regulatory authority
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make patients feel at ease
  • Current CPR and First Aid training
  • With Orthodontic experience
