This role entails administration and reporting requirements associated with the payroll process. What we offer :
- Location : Brampton, ON
- Days of work – Monday to Friday, must have flexibility in working hours, Hybrid 2-3 days onsite
- Pay : $40 - $45 / hr. + 4% vacation pay We Deduct CPP, EI and Income Tax. You will be paid each Friday for the previous week’s work.
- Dates of assignment : Starting ASAP on a 6-month contract.
- Full Time, with possibility of extension or going perm.
What you ’ll do :
Processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly and owner operators in both Ontario and Quebec.Entering Owner Operator invoices daily.Issuing fuel rates for all provinces as per our collective agreement.Handling daily payroll queries related to hourly, salary and Owner Operator Payroll.Processing bi-weekly records of employment for all our hourly and salaried employees and updating their records in Kronos.Handling Service Canada and Workers compensation requests for payroll information.Handling 3rdparty payments such as garnishes and union dues on a bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.Updating new hires in Kronos and providing them with access to biometrics.Updating all payroll related details for new hires in WFN.FilingAd hoc projectsWh at we’re looking for :
Must have 3 - 5 years of payroll experience - Ontario and Quebec - BilingualMust have completed or working towards PCPMust have software knowledge of Workforce Dimension and ADP Workforce NowMust have excellent excel competency (including basic formulas – VLOOKUP, pivot table, IF functions, etc.) and experience in using Access softwareMust be a team playerMust be flexibility in working hoursMust have high attention to detailMust be able to work under pressure and tight deadlinesMust be quick learner and organizedMust have strong customer orientation and ability to communicate at all levelsMust be analytical and very accurateOur team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
