We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst (sales/business-oriented) to join our team and help shape the future of how we sell our games and services. Working with Dead by Daylight primarily, you will get to work on a thriving Game as a Service (GaaS) influencing numerous aspects of our business intelligence.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for uncovering insights about our sales, products and promotional pricing strategies. From helping to identify sales strategy to recommending SKUs to reporting on sales and performance, you will own the full analytics process all while ensuring our teams have the tools and insights needed to succeed.
You will be responsible not just for reporting but working with partners and stakeholders to solve problems, spark ideas and help craft the best product and sales strategies. If you love data, spotting trends and making a real difference, this is your chance to do just that.
In this role you will :
- Work closely with our sales team to set up, analyze and suggest sales plans and promotional calendars.
- Work with our product teams to determine in-game sales strategies and product offerings.
- Produce reports and analyses for all sales projects including promotions, skus and in-game stores.
- Identify and define analytical needs, then propose and develop solutions for complex, ambiguous challenges faced by stakeholders.
- Create dashboards and reporting products for stakeholders tailored to specific audiences.
- Adapt and thrive in fast moving environments using flexible approaches to tackle complex challenges.
What we're looking for :
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data analytics with an emphasis on sales and business intelligence.
- Strong database manipulation skills including processing of large datasets using SQL, and NoSQL (Python experience is an asset).
- Excellent data visualization skills (PowerBI is an asset).
- Ability to decipher and report on sales plans while also being able to suggest sales strategies and promotional calendars.
- Knowledge of the video game industry or other entertainment industries an asset.
- Excellent project management, storytelling and communication skills are essential.
