Quality Assurance Coordinator

Artistree-MississaugaThe Quality Assurance Coordinator (QAC) is responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met on all materials coming into the warehouse and all products going to customers : while following safety rules, meeting productivity standards and achieving attendance requirements.

Major Activities

1. Samples & Materials

• Assist in reviewing and approving all master control samples and pre-shipment samples from internal and external suppliers to identify nonconformity to quality standards.
• Determine whether nonconforming materials are widespread or isolated.
• Ensure that substandard moulding is pulled, isolated, and logged.
• Participate in sourcing team and staff meetings.
• Build and maintain good business relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Report / Communicate issues with Domestic suppliers and vendors.
• Cross-train for other positions and provide support to other production teams or functions, as needed.
• Support Inventory and Out of Stock levels.
• Assign Bins for New Items. Pool and isolate discontinued items, receive and communicate credit.
• Planning and Execution of POG changes.
