In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (Homecare) of Toronto is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Registered Practical Nurses (RPN's) for our clients in Toronto (South Etobicoke). Work setting is within private homes.

Location is Lakeshore Blvd West and Windermere Ave

12 hour shifts. Day and night shifts available.

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care especially during the Covid 19 pandemic.

How You Will Spend Your Days

Basic Meal Preparation

Administering Medications & Medication Management

Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)

Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers - Using Hoyer and ceiling lifts

Providing companionship and emotional support

Responding to emergency situations

Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success In This Role

Registered Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse Certificate

Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred

Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)

Documentation skills

Ability to follow client care plan

Strong communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service skills
