Wage : $20.00 per hour (minimum 40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and responsible nanny to provide full-time care for our children : primarily our 2-year-old, and our 6-year-old. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment through play-based learning and developmentally appropriate activities.

The successful candidate will begin full time, on March 2, 2026.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for two children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Engage the 2-year-old in age-appropriate activities that support sensory development, motor skills, and early language (telling stories, songs, crafts).
• Plan and facilitate stimulating activities for the 6-year-old that promote creativity, critical thinking, and social skills, including arts and crafts, imaginative play, and educational games.
• Organize daily walks and outdoor playtime for both children, encouraging physical activity and exploration.
• Take the children to local parks, the Boys and Girls Club, or other community activities to enhance their social interactions.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Supervise children at all times in the employer’s residence and during outings to ensure their safety.
• Drop off and pick up our 6-year-old from the school bus during the school year.
• Light housekeeping related only to the children (tidying toys, children’s laundry, meal clean-up)
• Administer basic first aid as required; no medical or nursing care is expected.
• The employer’s household includes pets. No pet care responsibilities are required.
