Salary : $100,000 - $130,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits

Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our operations near Stirling, ON area. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a team of 5 direct reports across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Shipping departments. This role will also manage multiple indirect reports, requiring strong leadership and operational expertise.
Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day operations across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Shipping departments.
- Ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Development, and Engineering teams to support innovation and new product introduction.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to achieve and exceed industry standards.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize operational costs while maintaining high standards.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MBA is a plus).Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operational management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics manufacturing and / or automotive industries.Technical expertise in R&D, Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Maintenance.Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a personable and dynamic leadership style.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities and deadlines.Eligibility to work in Canada.Personality Traits :
