Type : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our operations near Stirling, ON area. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead a team of 5 direct reports across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Shipping departments.

This role will also manage multiple indirect reports, requiring strong leadership and operational expertise.

Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day operations across Engineering, Quality, Production, and Shipping departments.
• Ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Development, and Engineering teams to support innovation and new product introduction.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to achieve and exceed industry standards.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize operational costs while maintaining high standards.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operational management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics manufacturing and / or automotive industries.
• Technical expertise in R&D, Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Maintenance.
• Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a personable and dynamic leadership style.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
