With some recent changes, the executive team has identified the need to recruit a Head, Electrical Engineering who understands the power of the integrated project delivery model and as part of the leadership, use their expertise and ability to lead and build Omicron’s electrical engineering team and enhance the firm’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Project Delivery, the Head, Electrical Engineering will ensure the company has a strategic and forward-thinking approach to building electrical engineering capabilities which will allow Omicron to obtain and execute work based on the technical reputation of the team. This electrical leader will play a role in client pitches and heighten the client’s confidence in Omicron’s integrated approach delivering excellence in electrical engineering and contributing to the creation of buildings that deliver on the client’s desire from both form and function perspective. The successful candidate will oversee a team of four today with a mandate to grow the team to support the growing business.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is an experienced electrical engineer respected for their technical expertise, innovative approach, forward-thinking mindset and leadership skills. They bring prior experience leading an electrical engineering team. Their career has evolved to the point where their technical knowledge is their foundation, and they are passionate about driving design excellence and being part of a great team.
