Let Your Career Shine with Cora!

For over 39 years, Franchises Cora Inc. has been Canada’s breakfast leader, with more than 125 restaurants from coast to coast. We are a dynamic, family-owned company that continues to grow, and we’re looking for a passionate individual to help our restaurants shine across the country! If you’re energetic and passionate about the restaurant industry, come join the Operations team!

Overview

The incumbent provides training to franchisees and their employees based on identified mandates or during restaurant openings, transfers, or renewals within a designated region. Training covers management, kitchen operations, customer service, and fruit preparation.
Based on their level of expertise and assigned mandates, the role also supports franchisees in improving restaurant profitability while ensuring compliance with company standards in Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Human Resources (training)—all within a naturally supportive and collaborative environment.

In Details…

  • Identify, plan, and deliver restaurant staff training in operations, management, and cost control for franchisees or managers, based on acquired knowledge related to operational programs (delivery, table-side payment, etc.);
  • Produce a training report after each session and ensure proper follow-up;
  • Advise franchisees on government standards, hygiene and sanitation, health and safety, and Cora procedures;
  • Participate in the development of personalized action plans, KPIs, and workshop planning with franchisees based on needs and acquired knowledge;
  • Actively participate in restaurant openings, transfers, renovations, or renewals;
  • Conduct restaurant evaluations as part of a sale process, based on acquired knowledge level;
  • Contribute to the improvement, full development, and updating of training plans and manuals, and revise certain operational tools for the network;
  • Participate in regional conference calls for launches;
  • May be required to manage an annual calibration process for coaches;
  • And more…

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma (DES) or Vocational Diploma (DEP) in food service;
  • Diploma in finance or management is an asset;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role or having held various restaurant positions, ideally in management or service management;
  • Availability to work 1 weekend out of 4;
  • Availability to support restaurant openings anywhere in the country for approximately 21 consecutive days;

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluency in French & English; comfortable delivering training regularly;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Planner, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

Personal Qualities and Characteristics:

  • Supportive, understanding, and patient;
  • Dynamic;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Creative;
  • Flexible and available;
  • Strong adaptability.

What We Offer:

Group Insurance benefits, Group RRSP and DPSP with employer contribution, social activities, restaurant/km/cell phone allowance, uniforms, generous statutory holidays, personal days, we don’t forget your birthday—and a warm, family-style work environment!

The Cora team is waiting for you! 🧡
