Job descriptionResponsible for fulfilling orders and completing sales transactions. Maintain inventory, complete food preparation, and provide information about products to better serve the customers' needs. Maintain accuracy in all food and beverage preparation. Operate cash register and receive different forms of payment from customers. Informs customers about the differences between coffee beans and coffee preparations. Clean and stock customer areas. Learn and maintain knowledge of Starbucks’ products and procedures. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. Carry out additional duties as delegated by the Food Service Manager and Store Operator. Previous Starbucks experience is not a requirement but would be considered an asset. Must have open and flexible availability to work various shifts which would also include weekends and holidays. Previous cash handling experiences preferred. Ability to deliver world-class customer service and be part of an upbeat and fast-paced work environment. Must be an excellent team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals. Must have previous customer service experience. Must possess good upselling skills. Professional image including a name tag and proper grooming. Strong computer and POS skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift, push, pull min. 25 lbs. Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Food Service Staff (Barista) to join our Weyburn, SK location at Starbucks - 30 3rd St NE.

Job Description :
As a Food Service Staff (Starbucks Barista), you will create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing legendary customer service with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Food safety is an asset, but we are willing to train and teach you everything you need to know. Baristas are the face of Starbucks. They create an uplifting experience for the people who visit our stores and make perfect beverages - one drink and one person at a time. The opportunity is here - all you must do is take it.
- This is a 3-month term position with the possibility of an extension, or permanent position.
- 12 to 24 hours per week.
- The usual shifts will be evenings and weekends (4 : 15 to 9 : 15 OR 5 : 15 to 9 : 15 OR 6 : 15 to 9 : 15
