Job description

Randstad is seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Rocky View, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse / facility, ensuring that goods are handled correctly and production / shipping schedules are met.

Starting pay : $20-$21 / hour.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down counterbalance and other types of forklifts to transport materials and products.
  • Safely load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse or production area.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform inventory checks and data entry as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have a valid forklift certification and 1-2 years’ experience in operating a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift and other similar machineries in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of order picking, quality control, and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
