Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking a skilled Civil Bridge Engineer Project Manager to join the Infrastructure team in Edmonton, Alberta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bridge construction projects from inception to completion. They will manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and teams to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage bridge construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success.
Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and budget analyses to stakeholders and management.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth and development.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; P.Eng. Designation is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on bridge construction projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing bridge construction projects from inception to completion.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, with a focus on bridge construction.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities : Design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, for commercial and mixed-use buildings. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical designs with other building systems. Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize system performance. Provide advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, and review their work to ensure accuracy and quality. Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable practices into electrical designs. Explore and implement innovative solutions that reduce energy consumption and enhance system performance. Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Present design concepts, provide technical recommendations, and address any client concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the quality control process for electrical design and installation. Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are installed according to design specifications and industry standards. Prepare detailed electrical design documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure all deliverables are completed on time. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on commercial and mixed-use projects. Experience in the Vancouver or BC market is preferred. Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Certifications : Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in British Columbia is required.
