Our client, a leader in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, is seeking a Truck and Trailer Technician-Compact Equipment to join their dedicated team. As a Truck and Trailer Technician-Compact Equipment, you will be an integral part of the service department supporting the maintenance and repair of various compact and tracked equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title : Truck and Trailer Technician-Compact Equipment
Location : Truro, NS
Pay Range : $62000 - $70000
Shift : Days
What's the Job?
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on compacy equipment, including bobcats, skid steers, and tracked machinery.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve service processes.
What's Needed?
Certification from a technical school with equivalent experience or Canadian Red Seal in Heavy Duty Equipment preferred.
Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards in all tasks.
