Job descriptionECE Certificate or equivalent. 2+ years in Child Care, After School, or Youth programs. Flexible with split shifts and various locations. Strong work ethic and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication. Team player with feedback orientation. Recruitment and staff management experience is an asset. Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Windows. Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a cleared Social Development Check Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with New Brunswick Child Care Standards, YMCA curriculum, and Child Protection policies.
- Plan and implement child-centered programs according to YMCA and provincial standards.
- Oversee staff, conduct site checks, and manage documentation and administrative tasks.
- Build relationships with children and families, adapting to their specific needs.
- Provide direct supervision and performance management for the staff team.
- Participate in the Pre-K program.
