Service / Maintenance Plumber Job Description
Full-time, Permanent
Pay : $50.00-$60.00 per hour PLUS SEMI-ANNUAL BONUS!
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service / Maintenance Plumber to join our client's team, performing maintenance and repair work on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers across the Vancouver Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of plumbing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must Haves
- High-rise building, boiler, electrical, or controls experience
- Red seal ticket
- Class B Gas ticket
- 5+ years experience as an indentured Plumber
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Able to act as the lead technician to shut down and complete repairs in high-rise buildings (20+ storeys) with 4 pipe systems (heating and cooling)
- Backflow ticket with knowledge on testing and repairing backflows
- Class A Gas ticket
- Perform service and maintenance work on high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use towers
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install toilets, kitchen sinks (including undermount), drainage, faucets, shower cartridges, dishwashers, basic 40 gal HWTs (gas and electric), commercial flush valves
- Source and clamp water leaks
- Replace smaller residential PRVs
- Rough-in bathroom groups with correct venting
- Repair and replace relief valves on boilers, HWTs, and storage tanks
- Perform drain cleaning / unclogging using K-50, K-60, K-1500, and hydro jetters
- Conduct camera scoping and locating
- Rebuild hose bibbs, and pull and reset toilets and tubs
- Solder up to 2” and use propress tools with XL jaws
- Basic water piping skills
