Our client in Calgary is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a contract role to support their logistics team. This position works on a 12-hour shift rotation (4 days on, 4 days off) and includes both day and evening shifts to ensure 24-hour operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and complete customer job orders, working with clients to determine delivery needs.
- Dispatch third-party truckers for deliveries.
- Track deliveries and ensure trucks arrive on time.
- Maintain communication with drivers, dispatchers and other teams
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and vendors.
- Check compliance.
- Maintain reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Ad-hoc duties as requested.
