Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of products and processes in our client's manufacturing operations in Burnaby, BC. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring that products meet established quality standards. Responsibilities :
Conducts Final Inspection and performance tests as detailed in the Quality Control Plan.
Uses test equipment and reads gauges to ensure performance standards are met.
Where defects are found, marks the defective area and returns the defective product for rework.
Completes inspection and testing records detailing product Work Order, or serial number, date of inspection, the status of inspection and identify the defective area(s) on both product and testing record.
Supports all inspection, testing, and packing operations, and when required cross-training for other operations to support production module performance.
Adheres to all policies and procedures and takes initiative to make suggestions to the Supervisor to improve work processes.
Maintains a clean and safe immediate workspace. Follows all Safety Regulations and reports all hazards, injuries, and accidents to the Supervisor immediately.
Able to work unassisted, as well as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and change focus quickly when needed.
Dry suit leak testing requires standing for long periods, working with water, lifting and pulling items (in excess of 20kg), and repetitive motion.
Qualifications :
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Grade 12 education or equivalent.
Basic computer skills.
Good verbal and written communication.
Previous Quality Control Inspection experience in manufacturing.
