Job descriptionProspect and develop leads through calls, emails, and follow-ups. Manage a sales pipeline , track customer interactions, and keep deals moving forward. Consult with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best solutions. Sell wholesale preorders , helping customers plan their seasonal inventory. Handle sales for custom commercial projects , including sculptures and large-scale installations. Collaborate with internal teams , providing insights from the field to improve our sales process. Experience in home services sales , especially selling to roofers, landscapers, or general contractors . Prior experience with Christmas lights installation is a big plus. Comfortable with a consultative sales approach , not just transactional sales. Technical skills and ecommerce familiarity , including CRM tools, lead tracking, and email marketing. Strong communication skills , with the ability to ask the right questions and uncover customer needs. Self-motivated and results-driven , able to take ownership of your pipeline. Competitive base salary plus commission structure , based on experience and performance. Bonus potential tied to sales goals and company growth. This is a full time position, with the possibility of part time or full time seasonally - if you are working as a professional installer in winter and need a sales role in the off-season, this is the perfect job for you!
About the Role
We are looking for a Salesperson with home services industry experience , ideally someone who has worked with Christmas light installation .
You will be selling to business customers , including :
- Home service professionals like roofers and landscapers looking to add Christmas lights as a seasonal business .
- Event planners, public gardens, and commercial clients needing large-scale decorative lighting solutions .
- Home services franchisees looking to purchase in bulk for their franchise locations .
- Businesses interested in wholesale and preorder programs to secure stock ahead of peak seasons.
- Customers with custom installation projects that require a more tailored sales approach.
This is not a high-volume cold-calling role where you just churn through numbers. You will absolutely need to pick up the phone and be proactive in outreach, but success in this role comes from understanding customers, building relationships, and providing real value .
