Material Handler

Position Summar y :

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment. May also utilize

forklift truck, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements . May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational requirements.

Certifications Required :

Order Picker - Forklift.

Key Accountabilities :

Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.

Oversees safe and reliable packaging of all outgoing shipments.

Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.

Review shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping

priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping, utilizing

knowledge of shipping procedures

Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all

accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with finished goods that need to be shipped

Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required

Identify, hold and segregate defective material

Perform general clean up

Participate, support and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and

requirements

Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead

Train others when required

Assist in any activities related to lean and / or quality

Meet / Exceed targets as defined by the leadership team

Other duties as assigned
