About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dock Worker to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient movement of freight within our terminal, supporting on-time deliveries and overall operational success.

Location: Fredericton
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday - 9PM to 6AM
Wage: $18.58 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area
  • Use of scanners and paperwork
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Verify shipment accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies
  • Maintain clean and organized work environment
  • Attend in-house training sessions as required (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS, etc.)
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines

What you bring:
  • Forklift certification is an asset
  • A willingness to work, dependability & a good attitude
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift perform heavy lifting on a regular basis
  • Willingness to work in warehouse conditions with possible high noise levels and varying temperatures (dependent on weather)
  • Safety boots/shoes
  • A clean criminal background
