Job description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Shipper & Receiver to join our client’s team in Nisku, AB. This is a great opportunity for individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a mix of office and warehouse responsibilities. In this role, you will be essential in efficiently managing shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks.

Position : Shipper & Receiver

Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Salary : $30 - $32 per hour

Location : Nisku, AB

Responsibilities

Operate forklift, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.

Load and unload trucks efficiently.

Generate packing slips for outgoing products (3G).

Verify receipt of purchased products against purchase orders and drawings.

Generate and record Material Receiving Reports, including discrepancies such as short or damaged products.

Transfer product details (work order, heat number, material grade) to received goods.

Follow production schedules to prioritize shipping and receiving tasks.

Verify and document Material Test Results.

Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Understand and adhere to company Quality Management System standards.

Handle customer pick-ups and shipments professionally.

Perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Forklift experience is necessary.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software applications.

Excellent time management, organizational, and quick learning abilities.

Capable of lifting heavy objects.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain attention to detail and safety.

Familiarity with shipping management and transaction software.
