Job descriptionPrevious experience with childcare or other related fields Passionate about working with children Ability to build rapport with children and their parents Positive and patient demeanor Have taken (or will take) a Responsible Adult course (on-line), or have completed 20 hours of childcare related courses Current First Aid (If you don't have it we will pay for you to take it) Must be a minimum of 19 years old Complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) through the Ministry of Children and Family Development, A huge asset would be an applicant with a Class 2 or 4 driver's license. We will pay you to help get it, which will be an asset you will hold forever.
We are seeking a Childcare Worker - Out-of-School Care (OSC) to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner
- Implement creative activities to assist with child development
- Create a positive and nurturing environment for children
- Perform a variety of tasks, such as setting up the site daily, picking kids up from school, help prepare a monthly calendar of activities, end of shift cleaning
