Job descriptionGraduate of an approved Practical Nursing program and licensed with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification. Previous experience in long-term care is an asset. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills. Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 lbs.

Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and implement individualized care plans while promoting resident wellness and dignity.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with BCCNM guidelines.
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document changes, and notify families and physicians as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
- Provide coaching and real-time guidance to care staff.
- Participate in care planning, orientation, and staff training programs.
- Ensure adherence to policies, emergency procedures, and confidentiality standards.
