Our client, a leading organization dedicated to community support, is seeking a Community Outreach & Home Food Assistance Coordinator to oversee and enhance their home delivery service. This role involves collaborating across departments, managing client intake, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth program operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the Home Delivery Working Group and drive program improvements.
- Coordinate home deliveries, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Operations team and volunteer drivers.
- Conduct client intake, assess needs, and provide referrals.
- Maintain accurate client records and generate reports.
- Use a trauma-informed approach to support vulnerable clients.
- Assist with reception duties and donor interactions as needed.
- Post-secondary education in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage client interactions with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Fluent in English is required; & French is an asset.
