Job description

Provincial Sales Leader - Foodservice Capital Equipment

Saskatchewan or Manitoba (Hybrid / Field-Based)

MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our foodservice equipment and supply client to recruit a Market Sales Leader to oversee sales performance and team development across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This leadership role combines hands-on field coaching, strategic account management, and sales execution, with responsibility for driving revenue growth, margin performance, and customer retention across the market.


Some of what you will do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of territory sales representatives and showroom sales professionals across the region
  • Drive achievement of revenue, margin, customer acquisition, and retention objectives
  • Execute sales management processes including performance reviews, pipeline management, scorecards, and sales planning
  • Work alongside field sales representatives to support customer development, coaching, and business growth initiatives
  • Build relationships with restaurateurs, foodservice operators, consultants, architects, contractors, and industry stakeholders
  • Collaborate with national account teams to support strategic customer growth and retention initiatives
  • Support implementation of sales programs, training initiatives, promotional activities, and merchandising strategies
  • Manage regional operating budgets and ensure resources are deployed effectively to maximize business results
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer service, and team development

You should have the following:

  • 5+ years of sales leadership, sales management, or high-performing field sales experience
  • Experience within foodservice equipment, foodservice distribution, hospitality, restaurant supply, or related industries
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals to exceed targets
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, customer development, pricing strategy, and margin management
  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and supporting complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance and drive results
  • Comfortable operating independently while collaborating across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related discipline is considered an asset
