Carry out routine operating activities, such as sample collection, monitor production and pressure equipment, equipment startup / shut-down and layup, LOTO installations and walk-downs, issue permits, troubleshooting, supervise maintenance contractors, and perform wellsite inspections. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing non-routine activities with co-workers and leadership. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are in place and followed. Uphold company's Energy's high environmental standards by promptly reporting leaks and rectifying the issue. Maintain Accurate logs to identify any conditions that may affect the safe operation of equipment. Execute work in accordance with The Client's standards and procedures. Review and stay up to date on standards and procedures. Work with multiple business units at site including Health and Safety, Environment, Drilling and Completions, and Production Engineering Participate in daily and monthly safety meetings, submit Hazard ID's and present safety moments. Support Projects group with regards to central processing facility, and well pad expansions. Assist in commissioning activities as required. Support facility coordinators to complete business tasks and optimize production. Complete A d-Hoc requests as required. Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada 3rd / 2nd Class Power Engineering Certificate is required to work in the Central Processing Unit. H2S Alive, TDG, WHIMIS, Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry and Rescue is preferred. A Valid Class Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract A minimum of 5 years' experience in a steam plant, process plant or well pad operation is required. SAGD specific experience is preferred, but other related experience will be considered. Knowledge of safety procedures in a plant / field environment is considered an asset. Experience working with a multi-discipline team is required. Knowledge of operations and maintenance work planning is an asset Basic knowledge of general computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Strong interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written as well as the ability to adapt your communication style to meet the objective or situation at hand. This is a Fly-In, Fly-Out position, working on a 7&7 rotation (Tuesday - Tuesday), flying out of Calgary or Edmonton.
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time r eliable and experienced SAGD Plant Operator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's facility in Christina Lake, AB. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring equipment, maintaining safety standards, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a Fly-In, Fly-Out position, working on a 7&7 rotation (Tuesday - Tuesday), flying out of Calgary or Edmonton.
