You consistently help others and demonstrate adherence to safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day You understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field Experience in light industrial, manufacturing, field production / farming, seed cleaning and handling, or warehouse Knowledge of farming, production agriculture and production plant operations VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position This position does NOT offer a comprehensive domestic relocation package This role will be on-site at our Corteva location

Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join our team at our Lethbridge, Alberta location !
What You Will Do :
- Be a member of a team that provides a strong training program and foundation to advance your career in a variety of areas (Agronomy, Operations, Management, Leadership, etc.)
- Work and interact directly with canola seed growers in the summer
- Perform responsibilities associated with general plant operations from receiving seed to shipping packaged seed at the Lethbridge Plant
- Operation of various types of plant equipment such as sizing, gravity operation, spiral separators, seed treatment applicators, packaging equipment
- Conditioning activities such as cleaning and sizing, treating, packaging, palletizing, wrapping, and sampling
- Could involve process orders, tag printing, grading, data entry and documentation of government records
- Shipping / receiving, interplant movement, rework, warehousing, and inventory management of bagged and bulk seed, including the safe operation of forklifts
- Harvest activities from receiving to storage
- Compliance with Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirements
- Repair and maintenance on plant equipment as required
- Various other duties as applicable, which will give you exposure and knowledge to a variety of areas of our business
