Job description

What We're Looking For: Looking for a kind, fun patient individual to care for our children - primarily for our 2 year old son, but sometimes for our 5 year old daughter as well (after school or on sick days). Ideal candidate is someone who LIKES kids and is aware of the developmental stages and age-appropriate play and interaction. Duties: 1. **Childminding** - playing indoors and outdoors with the kids including crafts, playground, taking to library or beach or park (all within walking distance). It would be a huge benefit if you were interested in taking our son to playgroups at the EarlyOn centre (would need your own vehicle if so but we can cover gas for these trips). 2. Meal prep for the kids (snacks, lunch). 3. Light housekeeping only in the sense of cleaning up after yourself and the kids. FYI - we have a friendly goldendoodle but he's often at doggie daycare, so if he was home you’d just need to let them in/out of the fenced yard, wiping paws before they come in when it’s a wet day. Notes On Availability: We can be flexible for the right candidate. Ideally looking for a couple week days, and some evenings out for date nights would be lovely but evenings are not strictly necessary.
