Job descriptionLead and identify gaps in site operations, ensuring profitability while delivering on customer commitments. Motivate, coach, and inspire a team to deliver high performance, ensuring high morale and personal growth. Inspire staff to provide superior service, maintaining operational standards and fulfilling customer promises. Demonstrate passion for safety and lead the site's safety culture, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Lead and manage a unionized team, navigating the complexities of collective agreements and ensuring harmonious labor relations. Achieve or exceed sales and operational targets, including differentiated fuels volume, convenience retailing, and overall site performance. Collaborate with the Territory Manager to set site-specific business plans and create action plans to close performance gaps. Drive the recruitment process, select top talent, and actively participate in training and development initiatives to support employee growth. Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada. Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar managerial role within retail or operations. Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a culture of collaboration and respect. Demonstrable success in achieving sales and profitability targets, managing operations, and improving business performance. Ability to implement standard processes, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer satisfaction through effective management. A genuine commitment to safety and compliance with a strong understanding of HSSE standards. Experience managing a unionized workforce is an asset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Must hold a valid driver's license and demonstrate safe driving skills.
