Seeking an experienced live out nanny located in Cobourg. Not looking to sponsor at this time. Driver’s license required.Hours : 35 hrs / week, salaried payroll position with 2 weeks paid vacation in addition to paid March Break, paid week off during ChristmasSalary : $40,000 annually4 day schedule plus working 1 Friday / monthLoving family of 6 (children are 8, 7, 3 and 1) seeking a member of the family to support us in our busy lives. Schedule : 9 : 30-6 : 00 Mon-Thurs, plus one Friday 10 : 00-2 : ... each month (scheduled for the year) Option to have summer off (lay off with EI) or restructure summer hours for 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off with majority of duties being house / dog sitting while we’re at the cottage (pay continues as salaried amount every 2 weeks). Upon arrival at 9 : 30, school aged kids are already at school and our 3 year old is at pre-school for the morning until 11 : 30. You would arrive and care for our super easy going 1 year old until pick-up for our son at 11 : 30. Provide lunch for our 1 and 3 year old and then both go down for their nap around 12 : 00 (both typically nap for around 2 hours). During naps, light housekeeping (tidying, vaccuuming, mop high traffic areas, load / unload dishwasher, fold laundry). We have had a loving nanny for the last 2 years who is on a maternity leave.Looking for a person who has attention to detail, is flexible, positive, reliable, and self directed.Childcare duties vary but may include getting the big kids off of the bus (comes right to our house), planning daily activities and community outings with the younger children, preparing lunch / snacks, folding and putting away children’s laundry and watering plants, tidying toys / common spaces.Children are all on a consistent routine with naps and bed times. 3 year old is potty trained. We are a very tight knit family and we have an active presence in the care and discipline of our children. We believe in a collaborative team approach to raising 4 young children. Our children are well mannered and respectful, and they love our current nanny as an extension of our family.
