Compensation :

42.85 per hour plus a competitive benefit package, pension plan and annual incentive program.

What you will do :

• Communicate with Supervisors, Operators and incoming / outgoing mechanics to determine daily priorities;
• Complete shift inspections, examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions and complete work orders and parts requisitions;
• Repair, align and adjust converting units and other equipment such as cartoners, case packers, case sealers, wrappers, palletizing robots and conveyors;
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
• Repair short term mechanical and electrical needs;
• Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate required parts;
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications;

Complete all required paperwork (shift reports, breakdown reports and inventory of parts removed from stores); and

Develop and maintain effective relations with all company employees at various organizational levels.

Position Requirements :

Experience working in automation with high speed packaging equipment and / or robots (preferred); and

Pneumatics and hydraulics experience #CH123
