OUR CLIENT HAS AN OPENING FOR A ROAD ROUTER OPERATOR (ROAD CONSTRUCTION). THIS ROAD ROUTER OPERATOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OPERATING SPECIALIZED MACHINERY USED IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE PROJECTS. THIS ROLE REQUIRES A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES, EQUIPMENT OPERATION AND DAFETY PROCEDURES.

JOB : ROAD ROUTER OPERATOR (ROAD CONSTRUCTION)

PAY : $22 / HR + (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

TYPE : FULL TIME / POSSIBLY PERMANENT

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

OPERATE ROAD ROUTER MACHINERY TO CUT PRECISE GROOVES OR CHANNELS IN ASPHALT OR CONCRETE SURFACES ACCORDING TO PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS.

COLLABORATE WITH CONSTRUCTION CREW MEMBERS TO ENSURE ACCURATE POSITIONING AND ALIGNMENT OF THE ROAD ROUTER.

ADJUST ROUTER SETTINGS AND CUTTING BLADES AS NEEDED TO ACHIEVE DESIRED CUTTING DEPTH AND WIDTH.

MONITOR MACHINERY PERFORMANCE AND CONDUCT ROUTINE MAINTENANCE TO ENSURE OPTIMAL OPERATION.

ADHERE TO SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES.

COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH SUPERVISORS AND TEAM MEMBERS TO COORDINATE WORK ACTIVITIES AND ADDRESS ANY ISSUES THAT ARISE.

MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF WORK PERFORMED, INCLUDING MATERIALS USED AND HOURS WORKED.

FOLLOW COMPANY SAFETY POLICIES / MAINTAIN A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
