Job Summary : Propane Service Technician II
Are you a certified professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service in the propane industry? Avenir Energy Ltd., one of Canada’s fastest-growing propane distribution companies, is seeking a Propane Service Technician II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work hands‑on in the installation and maintenance of propane appliances and storage equipment, while providing top‑tier customer service.
With a minimum G2 certification (and a willingness to acquire LP endorsement within 18 months of employment), you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a company that is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Install and maintain a wide variety of propane appliances and storage equipment
- Provide expert service and maintenance to various brands of heating equipment in the field, ensuring customer systems run efficiently and safely
- Participate in on‑call shifts during regular and off–business hours to ensure timely customer service and issue resolution
- Plan and execute service calls efficiently, ensuring all work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction
- Promote company offerings to customers, identifying sales opportunities during service calls to help meet branch revenue targets
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, explaining repairs, and maintaining a professional demeanor
- Complete all required paperwork, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Follow company policies and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure all tasks are performed safely
- Conduct site‑specific hazard assessments as required by company safety policies and report any unsafe acts or conditions when identified
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle inspections to ensure company vehicles are in proper working order, clean, and presentable to uphold the company image
- Uphold the highest standards of service and safety while representing Avenir Energy in the field
